Some highlights include the maze, sculptures and of course the gardens. Dogs are welcome in the gardens and the park area but must be kept on a lead. Although pets are not permitted in the restaurant and farmyard there are special places provided where you can leash your dog while you have a bite to eat or visit the animals in the farmyard.
Shipley Country Park
To get to Shipley Country Park you enter through a large industrial state but what lies within could not be more of a contrast!  From parkland and trails to hills and lakes there are miles of country to explore.  Wildlife lovers will be in their element as will those who enjoy nature and outdoor activities. There is another main entrance at Mapperly where you will find a car park, toilet facilities and a picnic area. Some highlights inside the park include the wildlife garden, wetland habitats, fishing, nature trail and the toddlers playground.  And if you want a reminder of your stay then why not treat yourself or someone else to something from the gift shop at the Visitors Centre.
