Oaktree Cottage

Sleeps 2

We think that Oaktree Cottage would be the perfect retreat for couples looking for some quality time together in idyllic surroundings.  This semi detached property manages to fuse modern style with traditional features and has the benefit of 13 acres of fields and grounds surrounding it.  These surroundings mean that the cottage offers magnificent views including a view over the garden, small lake and woodlands.

You will be in a great location for walks so if you like to get out and explore you'll love this area.  With a wealth of country lanes to explore as well as the well known "Granite Way" for walking and cycling, you'll be spoiled for choice.

For fun days out there are many local attractions from pretty thatched villages to National Trust properties.  And of course this area of North Devon has wide sandy beaches just a short drive away.  The area is particularly good for surfing.

The cottage itself is both cosy and contemporary with open plan living and a double bedroom.  One feature we love in the bathroom is the large double ended bath.  From the kitchen there is a patio door leading to the lovely dining and seating area.

There is an unfenced pond on site so children must be supervised at all times.  Pets are welcome by arrangement.
