Levishie is a delightful lodge style cottage offering a tranquil setting for a cottage holiday in the Highlands. The cottage sleeps 4 and offers open plan living in a fantastic location close to Loch Ness, with views over rivers and hillside. Guests staying here can also enjoy free trout fishing.

Inside the property has one double and one twin bedroom. The living area is bright and modern and the fitted kitchen is very well equipped for self catering and also has a washer/dryer. The décor is homely and quite contemporary, with neutral colours and lots of wood. To the rear of the cottage is a private patio with picnic bench and guests also have shared use of the extensive grounds and the trampoline, which is sure to keep the children happy.

Local attractions include the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre, the Great Glen Water Park and the beautiful Isle of Skye. Please note that due to the close proximity to the river, children should be supervised when outside. One well behaved dog is welcome.

Mousa Broch
Mousa Broch is a good choice for a day trip that the whole family will enjoy including the family pet! Located on the remote island of Mousa, (accessible by boat) this 13.3 metre tall tower is thought to be the finest surviving iron age broch in the world. Dogs are permitted in the grounds but owners are asked to be sensitive when around children. Poop scoops are available from the stewards.
Inverlochy Castle in the Fort William
Inverlochy Castle in the Fort William area is a well preserved 13th Century castle and is an impressive sight to behold with dramatic round towers and beautiful grounds. It is thought to be one of Scotland's earliest castles. If you have a dog you can enjoy exploring the grounds but dogs must be kept on leads in some areas. Owners are asked to ensure that they clean up after their pets.
Fort George
Fort George in the Inverness region is one of Scotland's most popular attractions and dog lovers will be pleased to know that the family pet is very welcome in the grounds. Still a working barrack, the site now also has a museum, café, a gift shop where you can pick up a souvenir and very impressive grounds which you pet will just love exploring. Please note that dogs are not permitted in roofed buildings.
