Starfish Cottage is a stunning detached property affording panoramic sea views and is perfect for families or couples looking to enjoy a holiday by the beach.

The cottage is beautifully presented and has a double bedroom with four poster bed, a spacious living room with sofa bed, a modern fitted kitchen and some luxurious special touches including under floor heating, a spa bath and sauna! One of our favorite features of this cottage is the decked area with porch swing chair, furniture and BBQ.

The peaceful location on the Isle of Mull is perfect for relaxing cottage holidays and those who enjoy outdoor pursuits can enjoy very scenic walking and cycling from the doorstep. Bird Watching and Pony trekking are also popular pass times here.

Nearby attractions include the dramatic the Gribun rocks, stunning Calgary Bay and the town of Tobermory which many guests recognize as the setting for the popular BBC children's series 'Balamory'. Two well behaved dogs are welcome.

Pet Friendly Days Out in Scotland
Mousa Broch
Mousa Broch is a good choice for a day trip that the whole family will enjoy including the family pet! Located on the remote island of Mousa, (accessible by boat) this 13.3 metre tall tower is thought to be the finest surviving iron age broch in the world. Dogs are permitted in the grounds but owners are asked to be sensitive when around children. Poop scoops are available from the stewards.
Inverlochy Castle in the Fort William
Inverlochy Castle in the Fort William area is a well preserved 13th Century castle and is an impressive sight to behold with dramatic round towers and beautiful grounds. It is thought to be one of Scotland's earliest castles. If you have a dog you can enjoy exploring the grounds but dogs must be kept on leads in some areas. Owners are asked to ensure that they clean up after their pets.
Fort George
Fort George in the Inverness region is one of Scotland's most popular attractions and dog lovers will be pleased to know that the family pet is very welcome in the grounds. Still a working barrack, the site now also has a museum, café, a gift shop where you can pick up a souvenir and very impressive grounds which you pet will just love exploring. Please note that dogs are not permitted in roofed buildings.
