Pet Friendly Cottage Company

The Ticket Office

Sleeps 2

Providing cosy and rather romantic cottage accommodation in Whitby, The Ticket Office is a fantastic conversion which has been sympathetically done to show off some wonderful original features.

The cottage sleeps 2 and has an open plan living room and a spiral staircase leading to the cabin style bedroom which is tucked into the eves of the house.

We love the location which means that excellent village amenities including shops, a pub, cafes, boating on the River Esk, and a miniature railway are right on the doorstep. Guests also have use of a use of grassed area to the front of the property with lawn and flower beds.

Recent reviews have been very positive with many commenting on the charm of the property and the location, close to the National Park. One well behaved dog is welcome.

Pet Friendly Days Out in Whitby
The Moors National Park Centre
The Moors National Park Centre lies at the very heart of the beautiful North York Moors. near Whitby and is the perfect place for a day out with your family. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under close control and owners are asked to ensure that they clean up after their pets.  The stunning site has miles of trails, paths and walks to explore and on a summer day we recommend bringing along a picnic.
Beaches are ideal for dog walking and most dogs like nothing more than a splash in the sea. Dogs are welcome on all Whitby beaches from September to May but are not permitted on the main West beach during high season when many families with young children flock to the area. There are however some areas where dogs can be walked all year round.
Falling Foss Waterfall and Tea Garden
An excellent choice for a dog friendly day trip in Whitby. The fabulous gardens feature cascading waterfalls, rare flora and fauna and as the name suggest are also home to a famous tea room serving up amazing snacks and cakes. You can enjoy your tea in beautifully tranquil surrounding with apple trees and pretty flowers all around. Pets welcome in the garden.
