Blacksmith Cottage

Yorkshire Dales
Sleeps 2

We love this ground floor studio – formerly a blacksmith’s workshop, it’s full of character and charm and sleeps two people and one well behaved dog. It’s a minute’s walk from the village and the nearest shop and pub.

Grassington, which nestles on the River Wharfe, has a central market square surrounded by shops; it’s a good starting point for some lovely walks around the Yorkshire Dales and Brontë Country. The monthly farmers’ market sells a wide range of organic and homemade produce.

Blacksmith Cottage has one bedroom with a king size bed and an open plan living area. The little shared courtyard with garden furniture is a delightful space; this quaint cottage is a truly romantic retreat and a great base for a holiday.

The area really is a walkers’ paradise – you can head from Grassington to Linton Falls past St Michael and All Angels Church or enjoy the large Grass Woods to the north of the village. The Yorkshire Dales are full of picture postcard villages, spectacular valleys and historic castles to visit.
