Alfie’s Place is a two bedroomed, mid-terraced cottage in Pickering, a historic market town on the edge of the North York Moors. It sleeps five in total and two well behaved dogs are welcome.
Pickering has an excellent choice of shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants and the nearest pub is just a two minute walk from this lovely pet-friendly cottage. There are lots of walking and cycling opportunities across the moors and the surrounding countryside - and York and the Heritage Coast are just a short drive away.
We love the original beams and traditional furniture at Alfie’s Place. It has two bedrooms and a spacious living area with sofa bed. The enclosed lawned garden is perfect for relaxing and very handy for the dogs. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to Dalby Forest where you can enjoy a wealth of outdoor activities.
North Yorkshire is filled with rolling hills, valleys, rivers and abundant wildlife, so it’s perfect for families who love the great outdoors. You could try high wire adventure in Dalby Forest or take the steam train across the North York Moors. There are numerous museums, stately homes and pretty little market towns to visit too.
