This is a cute and charming first floor apartment of a converted mill. Inside is an open plan living space with Smart TV including Netflix. A great location to Netflix and chill! Of course that’s when you’re not out and about exploring this delightful region.
The location of this holiday apartment is idyllic sitting within Malhamdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
There are 8 acres of private grounds to explore shared with the other converted mill properties. The gardens lead down to a stream and a pond perfect for pets to have a splash about in the stream. From this property you can walk to Malham Cove which has a limestone ampitheatre, and you can also walk to the gorge of Gordale Scar. So much to explore right from the doorstep!
A little further afield is the town of Skipton with a Norman Castle and bustling market. Skipton is widely known as the gateway to the Dales.
This place is an ideal retreat for 2 with up to 2 pets. There is one bedroom with kingsize bed and one bathroom.

Richmond Cottage Holidays for those with Dogs
Marrick Cottage
Marrick Cottage in Richmond is another dog friendly gem in this region of Yorkshire.
This cottage sleeps 4 and welcomes 2 well behaved pets. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds so this would be a perfect retreat for families looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
Just a short walk away from the popular Georgian town of Richmond there is plenty to explore close to the cottage including shops, restaurants and cafes.
If you love the outdoors then you can make the most of the cycling and walking opportunities in nearby Swaledale. There are plenty of riverside and woodland walks including the popular Wainwright’s Coast to Coast which passes through Richmond. A short drive away you can explore many local market towns from Pickering to Hawes.

The one and a half acres of natural woodland grounds give this cottage an idyllic feel. If you like fishing then you’ll be in your element here with fishing available on-site. At the time of writing this is free of charge too!
The house has maintained many original features and the sense of character can be felt throughout. We love the Aga in the kitchen! Just a short walk from the town of Richmond you are well places for strolls and visiting local restaurants and cafes. Further afield there are plenty of amazing attractions including Bowes Museum and Hamsterley Forest.

Lovely Pet Friendly Leyburn Retreat
The Barn near Leyburn
Heading to a different area of the Yorkshire Dales now we bring you this stunning property. The Barn near Leyburn is a luxurious holiday retreat in one of the best locations. This cottage sleeps up to 5 people and welcomes 2 dogs.
The features within the property give a warm inviting atmosphere from the wooden floors to the wood burning stove. This gorgeous barn conversion is part of Oak Tree Farm and actually dates back to 1812.
This is one of the prettiest areas of the Dales and you’ll find walks and great places to explore right on the doorstep. Or turn left or right from the property by car and you will find some amazing market towns and villages including Leyburn itself and the pretty town of Hawes.
Travel to Aysgarth to see the waterfalls or stop off at the famous Wensleydale creamery.
